1.  Check that the contract contains information about which tenancy deposit scheme your
     deposit will be held in.
2.  If you a renting directly from a landlord, ask when the tenancy agreement was last
     updated. If it hasn't been updated in the last 12 months, get it checked by a lettings
     legal expert.
3.  Ideally check a tenancy agreement for free with WhichShelter or Citizens Advice or for £50-100,
